Here are the roses that I worked up.  There was one more that was such a complete failure that I couldn’t bear to post it.  Unfortunately, scatter-brain that I am, I can’t find the little piece of paper that I took notes on while I was making the patterns, so I can’t post them.  🙁  Since I’m not totally happy with either one, I guess that’s ok.

This one was not so frilly as the other, and that was good, but it didn’t hold together as well and had to be coaxed into shape.
I liked the structure on this one. It coiled well and held together. I think fewer picots next time so that it is not so frilly.
