A few weeks ago<\/a> I mentioned that some of our friends had been very<\/em> generous with the bamboo from their yard, and that even after making a large number of tomato frames I had quite a few pieces of bamboo left.\u00a0 Today’s Mother’s Day project is finished and I have several fewer.\u00a0 It’s a little rough, made from a set of sheets from the thrift store that really aren’t quite long enough on the edges, but the kids seem to like it.\u00a0 You can just see my son inside.\u00a0 This summer I’ll let them paint the walls on a day when I can hose them off afterwards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
