Well, I’ve changed the name of my blog.\u00a0 It seems that even “fiber” as a heading is too narrow for me. I’m beginning to suspect that I have a serious problem.\u00a0 No only do I have a craft addiction,\u00a0 (I’m not kidding about this.\u00a0 I’m absolutely miserable if I go more than a day without making significant progress on one project or another.) but I am completely unable to focus on any one kind of project for any length of time.\u00a0 The upshot of all this is that I have a broad set of skills and no real mastery.\u00a0 I suppose someday I will suddenly have achieved mastery on a large number of skills simultaneously, and can retire to the top of a mountain of craft supplies and have young crafters scale the mountain to seek my guidance.\u00a0 Unfortunately, lack of focus also makes making a living from my crafting very difficult, if not impossible.\u00a0 It’s hard enough to stay focused on the crafts themselves, never mind marketing them.\u00a0 I’ve opened an etsy <\/a>shop anyway, in the hopes that I can at least off-set the cost of craft supplies, while I look for a job.<\/p>\n
