\"20130825-100309.jpg\"<\/a>So this is something a little different from my usual fare.\u00a0 My husband is planning a new Warhammer army.\u00a0 This one has a Lovecraft theme.\u00a0 This is the new Cthulu model from Reaper’s new Bones line of miniatures.\u00a0 I wish that I had taken pictures of the model before I’d put the polyurethane finish on it.\u00a0 I don’t care for the shine.\u00a0 My husband is convinced that since the old one will be emerging from the water, it should be glossy.\u00a0 I’m not so sure.\u00a0 Still, I’m finding that the primer does not adhere to the Bones plastic as well as I would like.\u00a0 Getting a sealant on the model was imperative.\u00a0 I’ll decide whether to Dull Cote it later.\u00a0 Getting good pictures has been very difficult.\u00a0 They really don’t do justice to the paint job.\u00a0 It is definitely one of my best.\u00a0 I’ve started to get a handle on blending.\u00a0
