The strawberry plants that were bearing flowers at the beginning of last month are now bearing fruit, quite a lot of fruit actually.  We pay our tithe to the local critters, but we are certainly getting enough for our purposes.

Last year I remember seeing these awesome pictures of raspberries suspended in soda.  I thought that it was on craftgawker, but I can not now find them.  Anyway, I decided to give it a shot and see if I could make my strawberries look as lovely.  I didn’t quite manage, but they did turn out rather well.

I took the pictures under a couple of different lighting conditions.  The lower light looks crisper, but the colors are better in the bright light, even after post production.
