I was clicking around the other day on Craft Gawker when I found a beautiful and beautifully simple pearl and ribbon necklace posted by Anne Weil over at flax & twine. I hadn’t seen anything like this before, and it struck me as very elegant, and something my little Girly Girl would love, especially if it came in pink.  One trip to the craft store for pink ribbon,  (I already had some plastic pearls in my craft box, what beader doesn’t?)  and less than 15 minutes of beading later, and I had this to present to my daughter.

You can tell she loves it.

Anne’s tutorial is very good and so is the one over at Green Eyed Monster. Hers is in black for a much more grown up feel.
