Well, I’ve changed the name of my blog.  It seems that even “fiber” as a heading is too narrow for me. I’m beginning to suspect that I have a serious problem.  No only do I have a craft addiction,  (I’m not kidding about this.  I’m absolutely miserable if I go more than a day without making significant progress on one project or another.) but I am completely unable to focus on any one kind of project for any length of time.  The upshot of all this is that I have a broad set of skills and no real mastery.  I suppose someday I will suddenly have achieved mastery on a large number of skills simultaneously, and can retire to the top of a mountain of craft supplies and have young crafters scale the mountain to seek my guidance.  Unfortunately, lack of focus also makes making a living from my crafting very difficult, if not impossible.  It’s hard enough to stay focused on the crafts themselves, never mind marketing them.  I’ve opened an etsy shop anyway, in the hopes that I can at least off-set the cost of craft supplies, while I look for a job.
