Flowers for Valentine’s Day

I’ve been seeing a lot of really nice paper roses around on the net lately.  Since I recently bought a whole bunch of tissue paper to make fiesta flowers with my daughter, I thought I would try out one of the patterns on ellinée.  I’m still experimenting with good backgrounds and my photography techniques.  Last weekend I went home and  I was very jealous of my mother’s new SLR camera that she got to take foodie pictures for her blog.  I have a pretty good 10 mega pixel digital camera, but it’s just not the same.  Still, I have photo editing software!  Which image do you like best?

  1. 3rd one by far. Soft colors — palette shifted to red/yellow away from blue — bright green stem is complementary color which enhances the reds — best composition.

  2. I like #3, and if I had your photography and post-processing skills, I wouldn’t need a good camera. Not to mention your craft skills.
